The Performers

Danielle Carson Smith (photo to follow) is another amazing asset to our concert. Danielle has appeared in the West end and undertaken several musical tours but simultaneously admits she truly loves the Lake District. She has taken time out of the theatre to bring up her children. She run fitness classes to keep herself and others fit. And is hoping to start back some time in to her theatrical roots. We are inspired to have Danielle joining us for this evening and can't wait to hear her perform !!  .
Jackie Harkison is taking on one of the toughest roles in the concert - (having been given somewhat of a demanding example to follow !!!!) Having spent many years listening to congregations up and down the country you always know when there's a great voice hiding in somewhere !!! Jackie  is certainly able to match and exceed that - we are excited to have Jackie to take on the wonderful 1740 version of Rule Britannia - with no doubt her own special characteristic additions to the plot to which I am certain all will enjoy !!

As we conclude our 2017 / 2018 concert series - it has been magnificent. I never envisaged when I took the job we would be here . My sincere thanks to all those who came to perform this year and we look forward to welcoming all back to Whitehaven in the 2018 / 2019 concerts series.

A very SPECIAL thanks to the audiences who have so magnificently supported us through the year THANK YOU ALL !!!! Months of concerts have been enjoyed - and it will all begin again in Spring 2019 !!
